Description
Earlier this week, I posted an old progress picture of Samus' helmet in its first cardboard stage. This is the second part, refining all the bumps, adding details, and covering the entire helmet with foam.
Two types of foam were used, thin craft foam (black), and thick floor mat foam (yellow). Yellow was used for everything inside the helmet, extra padding so the helmet also wouldn't shift while wearing it, and at the raised side panels. Black foam covered the rest, and made the tubes at the front entirely.
A plastic visor was added next, then a little cleaning, and paint before it was finished~!
((And yes, those white random foam spheres in the background, are the starting phase of my shoulder pauldrons...))

How expensive were the supplies? And for the plastic of the visor do you use a clear soda bottle? I've used those for fake glass with pretty good results if you can uncurl it
