Legend of Dragoon - Rose

First costume entered in a Masquerade, won best armour in the Novice Division at Anime North 2009.

I really loved working with cardboard while making Zero's mask, so this was my trial attempt at making an armoured cosplay. It's entirely made out of cardboard, with black ducktape covering everything. I didn't have time to paint properly, since this costume was completed in about two week prior to the convention.

Costume malfunction just before the Masquerade, so I'm not wearing the wings, but they were rebuilt. Most uncomfortable costume you could imagine... I can't sit, and I'm wearing heels. It also makes my stance very proper, and I ended up having sore shoulders the next day.

Much love for this costume, but it'll be for short personal photoshoots only.
