Almost forgot it was Sunday... weird day was weird.
Following today's theme of oddities, this picture is one I really liked. I can't even quite place why... It's very crisp, and you can see all the smaller details even on the feathers. The lighting seems to glow, and a very awkward shrub is just arching across the photo. This feathered friend still catches my eye each time I see it...

Gorgeous. It's also nice to see this bird up close. It remained hidden from my view most of the time. That crevasse at the bottom has me intrigued. I can't place where this is in the Large Aviary. Next time I'm at the Bird Kingdom, I'll be looking for locales rather than birds.
